The impressive new plastic paratroopers of the US Army, Late WWII, are ready for inspection before the drop. It includes 30 plastic US Army paratrooper men with enough plastic parts to create 30 miniatures of US Paratroopers in M-1943 uniforms, as well as many options that allow for different weapon configurations and command models.

The paratroopers, having been tested in battle in Sicily in 1943 and later participating in their most famous operations during the D-Day landings in June 1944, were withdrawn from the front for rest and re-equipping.

Re-equipped with the new green M-1943 uniform, which was used throughout the US Army for standardizing supply, the companies that included the 101st ‘Screaming Eagles’ and the 82nd ‘All American’ were utilized by the Allied Strategic Command during Operation Market Garden - an ambitious plan to open a corridor through the Netherlands by dropping multiple American, British, and Polish airborne companies to seize critical bridges.
