The board game Chaos in the Forest is a cooperative strategy and exploration game in which players face enemies using dice. It combines tile placement, exploration, dice rolling, and monster battles. It includes two game modes: a classic game and a story-driven campaign that unfolds over successive chapters.
In the classic game, players explore a forest made up of more than 20 tiles, which vary from game to game, and face a final enemy. During the Adventure phase, the active player rolls 4 Hero dice and places them on their Hero board, choosing which actions to take. Loot cards, acquired by defeating monsters or interacting with creatures and locations, help the heroes achieve their objectives.
