Description

An exciting new graphic novel! Welcome to the world of Blade Runner 2009 and the birth of DIVISION BLADE RUNNER.

The slums of Los Angeles are ablaze.

Ilora Stahl, an executive at Tyrell and head of a secret program to transfer human consciousness into Replicants, has launched a full-scale attack on Sector 6-b with the aim of exterminating a rebellious Replicant, Nia, who was once part of her secret program.

Nia, having escaped, causes logical short circuits in the behavior of previously loyal Replicant servants, forcing them to rebel against their human masters.

Now, as Ilora's security forces attack the city, former police officer CAL MOREAUX has teamed up with an escaping experimental REPLICANT, Asa, who has gained the consciousness of a deceased Tyrell scientist. Together, they must uncover Ilora's conspiracy before the city burns to the ground.

Writers K. Perkins and Mellow Brown, along with artists Fernando Dagnino and Marco Lesko, bring a powerful new dynamic to the world of Blade Runner, exploring themes of gender, human exploitation, and slavery in the context of a world on the brink of ecological collapse and unchecked genetic engineering.
