Who is Booster Gold?

A con artist from the future seeking to become famous in the past, Booster Gold has shown a share of heroism.

When an opportunity arises, you must seize it! This is an idea that drove Mike Carter, a football star from the 25th century, who earned the nickname "Booster" on the field. Despite the support that a professional career filled with glory and wealth was in his future, he decided he couldn't wait and bet on his own games. The scandal ruined his dreams of professional fame and tarnished his reputation.

After working as a janitor at the Metropolis Space Museum, Mike saw another opportunity. With technology from the future and alien objects stolen from the museum, as well as a time machine that was on display, he realized that he could not only become a superhero in a past era where his criminal history was unknown, but he could also make his good deeds profitable.

Mike traveled to the future and made his debut as Booster Gold. Now, he fights against evil alongside various versions of the Justice League and his good friend Ted Kord, the second Blue Beetle. Although he is always eager to take credit for his good deeds on social media or sign with a well-paid sponsor, Booster is good at heart and will drop everything if he truly sees someone in need.
