Useful tips:

If it remains unused for a long time, it should be covered with the special cover to protect it from dust and dirt. Dust and oils combine and this creates problems in the machine's operation.

The sewing machine should be cleaned regularly in all its parts. Compressed air, a soft cloth, and a clean, soft brush are usually used for cleaning.

Lubrication should be done frequently but in moderation. The required amount of lubricant is a few drops. After lubrication, any remaining lubricant should be wiped off and then a test stitch should be made at low speed.
