The shipwrecked generations of the wars of '22 and '40 walk through the wet and bloody soils of a history of the unseen. Those who, anonymous, crossed the fire of war and with their sweat and blood built the home of an orphaned homeland, beyond official assessments and historiographical analyses.
The children born in the mid-1960s in cities and villages were marked by the narratives of the uprooted and the survivors. History is absorbed through its narrative mythologization. In the composition of the acclaimed and awarded poet, the details illuminate the historical time in a personal way. With the question of how we collectively and personally carry the stones of this weight into our current televised amnesia.
