    IP (Ingress Protection) is an international standard (IEC 60529) that indicates the level of protection an enclosure offers against solid particles (dust) and water.

    IP54 → resistant to dust and splashes (indoor / mild outdoor environment).

    IP65 → completely dust-tight + resistant to water jets (very good for general outdoor use).

    IP67 → completely waterproof + withstands temporary immersion (e.g. construction sites, outdoor areas with heavy rain).
