Description

Description

Grande Reserve Naoussa, one of the first and most well-known wines of Boutari Winery. It is the first red wine that introduced the concept of limited and controlled production from selected vineyard grapes to the market. It has received significant distinctions in international competitions and is consistently considered by Greek and foreign tasters as one of the highest quality Greek red wines.

Rich wine with a deep red color and brick-red highlights. The sweet aromas of dried fruits, predominantly tomato and fig, combine with those of aging, such as cinnamon, vanilla, wood, and spices. Robust wine with a body characterized by many and mature tannins, indicating its long aging process. Long-lasting aftertaste.

Aged for a total of 4 years, of which 2 years in French oak barrels (Allier, Never 225lt). Recommended serving temperature is 14-18˚C.

Excellent wine for its price. I prefer it straight as it is smoother. For food, I would prefer more intense smoky-spicy wines.

It was originally priced at 70€ and on sale for 20€ (approximately). However, everywhere else it was around 15-17€
