Nattokinase is an enzyme extracted from the natto plant (soybeans that have undergone a special fermentation process). It has been studied for its beneficial effects on the cardiovascular and nervous systems.

Natto is a food that has been fermented with Bacillus subtilis. Based on studies and international literature, nattokinase has fibrinolytic/antithrombotic action and also plays a significant role in lipid management. Additionally, nattokinase actively participates in blood coagulation and prevents the formation of blood clots. Consequently, it plays a protective role against risks such as cardiovascular diseases and the occurrence of strokes.

Note: If you are using or undergoing treatment with anticoagulant medications, consult your attending physician, as nattokinase interacts with anticoagulant medications. Due to its action, nattokinase can reduce blood clotting. Taking nattokinase along with medications that also slow clotting may increase the chances of bruising and bleeding.
