Description

This exciting, traditional Speyside whisky, rich and full of the Glenfiddich family's flavorful character, patiently matures for 21 years within the distillery. However, instead of bottling it as other distilleries would, Glenfiddich's Malt Master, Brian Kinsman, selects the barrels one by one and adds an exquisite final touch. He completes the maturation of the 21-year-old spirit in Cuban rum barrels. In this way, the spirit awakens and is enriched with exotic hints of ginger, fig, lime, and banana, as well as the warmth and liveliness of a spicy toffee. And from wonderful, it becomes simply unique.

    First of all it has one of the most eye catching packages out there. In terms of taste and aroma, the very first time you open it, it will smell only alcohol and may seem like a cheap one. The first taste is also mid, although with an explosion twist. In short mid to good.
    After that though, you open it a few days later, you smell it and then it all kicks in. Flowers, fruits, an incredible aroma. Then you taste it and every sip makes you travel, the same explosion twist is there again but now better, its like a poem.
    In conclusion, don't judge it by the first impression, open it and let the oxygen do its work, with the bottle.
