The ELAC VELA FS 408.2 floorstanding speaker combines the handcrafted JET 6 AMT tweeter with 180 mm bass and midrange drivers featuring AS-XR crystal membranes. The cabinet has a trapezoidal shape, is tilted backwards and features a curved front panel, helping to reduce the cabinet’s influence on frequency response. The cast-aluminium base incorporates a down-firing bass-reflex port, making placement easier.

The drivers reproduce high-energy transient signals more accurately, while the cabinet’s tilt and the JET 6 tweeter’s waveguide improve clarity in stereo and multichannel playback. The connections support bi-wiring and bi-amping.
