Its operation is similar to that of an oven, as it can be heated from the bottom and the top. It is compatible with wood, charcoal, briquettes, or can be used in an electric oven and grill. It features a handle that remains cool and a lid with a rim and legs, making it user-friendly.

The lid can also be used upside down for baking other dishes. Additionally, cast iron is an excellent heat conductor, retaining heat for a long time.
