Purchased for 30€ including shipping as an economical general-purpose multitool that offers many functions at this price but does not lack in quality. It comes with a fabric case in a well-crafted cardboard box.
Tac Maven is a brand of the famous Greek Pentagon for security personnel, which is making a strong start in multitools, beyond its clothing and military bags. Tac Maven's quality is excellent. Whoever holds it in their hands will think it costs over 80€, really a good purchase better than Leatherman, since Leatherman, for a little more quality and durability, costs 5 to 6 times more than this and there is also the risk of losing / stealing it, making it very expensive for the functions they provide. Of course, Victorinox is a category of its own in terms of quality and high disappointing cost, as everything they produce is truly timeless.
Let's move on to Tac Maven Gunnar (a new brand in multitools) which, for me, is a must-have value-for-money multitool (perfect for IT technicians, camping, military, outdoor excursions, hobbyists, and professionals), with quality metals 440 and 420 or the simple version which is only stainless steel, consider the 420HC (high carbon content, sharper) which is found in expensive brand-name multitools.
- The knife comes satisfactorily sharpened (passes the A4 paper test) and from what I see, it will also be easy to sharpen in the future, just like the very good scissors, it cuts several sheets at once.
- The pliers are very good, strong enough from the first use (I would like the tips to be a little thicker, but even as they are, I have no problem), a big positive is the cutters it has (which can be replaced if they break), and they easily cut wires, cables, etc. (Caution: if they are steel wires or staples, they may wear out prematurely and lose their edge.)
- The file has a numbered blade on the back, a satisfactory awl with a hole on top so you can sew something quickly.
- The screwdrivers at this price are satisfactory, I don't know if they will withstand heavy use.
- The saw cuts wood of various sizes.
A big positive is that all the tools lock, making it more user-friendly and safer.
As for durability, time will tell how it goes.
Αγοράστηκε στα 30Ε μαζί με τα μεταφορικά ως ένα οικονομικό πολυεργαλείο γενικής χρήσης που μεν προσφέρει πολλές λειτουργίες σε αυτήν τιμή αλλά δεν υστερεί σε ποιότητα. Έρχεται με υφασμάτινη θήκη σε ένα χάρτινο κουτάκι περιποιημένο .
Η Tac Maven είναι brand της διάσημης Ελληνικής Pentagon για τα σώματα ασφαλείας η οποία ξεκινάει δυναμικά και στα πολυεργαλεία, πέρα από το ρουχισμό και τις στρατιωτικές τσάντες της Tac Maven που είναι ποιοτικά).
Όποιος το πιάσει στα χέρια του θα νομίζει ότι κοστίζει πάνω από 80Ε, πραγματικά καλή αγορά καλύτερο από leatherman εφόσον τα leatherman για λίγο παραπάνω ποιότητα και μπορεί και αντοχή έχουν 5 με 6 φορές μεγαλύτερο κόστος από αυτό και υπάρχει και ο κίνδυνος να χαθεί / κλαπεί και ουσιαστικά είναι πολύ ακριβά για τις λειτουργίες που δίνουν. Η Victorinox βέβαια είναι μια κατηγορία από μόνη της στην ποιότητα και το υψηλότερο απογοητευτικό κόστος καθώς ότι βγάζει είναι πραγματικά αθάνατο.
Πάμε στο Tac Maven Gunnar (ένα νέο brand στα πολυεργαλεία) που για μένα είναι το must to have vfm multitool (τέλειο για τεχνικούς η/υ, camping, στρατιωτικούς, για υπαίθριες εξορμήσεις, για ερασιτέχνες άλλα και επαγγελματίες), με ποιοτικά μέταλλα 440 και 420 η απλή έκδοση που είναι μόνο ανοξείδωτη, να σκεφτείτε το 420HC (υψηλής περιεκτικότητας άνθρακα, πιο κοφτερό) συναντάται σε ακριβά επώνυμα πολυ-εργαλεία .
- Το μαχαιράκι έρχεται ακονισμένο ικανοποιητικά (περνάει το τεστ με το φύλλο Α4) και από ότι βλέπω θα είναι και εύκολο να ακονιστεί στο μέλλον , όπως και το ψαλιδάκι πολύ καλό, κόβει αρκετά φύλλα μαζί.
- Η πένσα πολύ καλή, δυνατή αρκετά εκ πρώτης χρήσης (θα ήθελα να είναι λίγο πιο χοντρά τα άκρα της, αλλά και έτσι που είναι δεν έχω θέμα), μεγάλο θετικό τα κοφτάκια που έχει ( τα οποία αλλάζονται κιόλας αν χαλάσουν ), και κόβουν άνετα καλώδια, σύρματα κ.α (Προσοχή: αν είναι ατσαλο-σύρματα ή πρόκες μπορεί να έχουν πρόωρη φθορά και θα χάσουν την κόψη τους.)
- Η λίμα διαθέτει αριθμημένο χαρακάκι από πίσω της, σουβλί ικανοποιητικό με τρύπα πάνω ώστε να ράψετε κάτι πρόχειρα.
- Τα κατσαβίδια σε αυτή την τιμή ικανοποιητικά δεν ξέρω σε μεγάλα ζόρια αν θα αντέξουν.
- Το πριονάκι κόβει ξύλα ανάλογου μεγέθους.
Μεγάλο θετικό είναι ότι όλα τα εργαλεία του κλειδώνουν και έτσι είναι πιο εύχρηστο και πιο ασφαλές.
Από αντοχή θα δείξει πως θα πάει.
