The Pampero distillery was founded in 1938 in the city of Caracas by Alejandro Hernandez and Luis Toro, who wanted to create a distinctive rum. Its emblem is influenced by the "llaneros," who in Latin America were the horsemen that traveled from region to region to help the locals. Their role, especially in the Spanish-American Wars of Independence, the Venezuelan civil wars, and the Montoneras, was crucial, and they became national heroes and legends of Venezuela. Pampero Aniversario is dedicated to its founders and is made from the rarest and most complex rums aged in Sherry barrels. It has an amber appearance, followed by a complex palette of aromas and flavors of sherry wood, vanilla, raisin, chocolate, tobacco, caramel, dried fruits, orange peel, and cocoa. Complex yet balanced! Ideal for elevating your cocktails but also pleasantly served straight with ice and an orange peel.
