The nib is made of steel, engraved, of exceptional quality, with line widths: EF, F, M, B, and 1.1. The cap closes with a snap and bears the characteristic Twsbi logo on top.

The length of the pen with the cap on top is 16.4 centimeters, while when closed it is 12.7 centimeters long, and it weighs 15 grams. It comes in a beautiful and secure gift box.

The word TWSBI comes from the initials of the words "San Wen Tong" read backwards, and means "hall of three civilizations" in Chinese. Emperor Qianlong created a monument to house the three great masterpieces of Chinese calligraphy. The word BI signifies the magic of writing tools.
