Single-origin, 100% Arabica coffee processed from Congo, from a plantation at an altitude of 1850 meters, in volcanic soils near Lake Kivu. The coffee trees belong to the Red Bourbon variety and came to the country from the Blue Mountains of Jamaica, famous for the world's best coffee. The cultivation is undertaken by the AMKA cooperative, which takes care not only of the environmental sustainability of its coffee, but also of fair wages for farmers and workers. In the cup, the coffee is smooth and delicate, but with a rich, complex flavor with notes of apple, bergamot, and a hint of lavender.
