In soaps, they are used at a ratio of 10ml/kg of soap base for the Melt & Pour method, 15ml/kg of oils for the hot process, and 20ml/kg of oils for the cold process. It can be used for burning in an oil burner or electric diffuser, as well as in reed diffusers after diluting in a suitable solvent for room fragrance.
