This cardioid-only version of the multi-pattern T2 features the same elegant design, extremely fast transient response, and warm, smooth sound, making it the ideal choice for a wide variety of applications such as piano, percussion, and bass amplifiers.

The classic sound meets modern craftsmanship in its simplest form. The sE Electronics T1 is a cardioid version of the famous T2. With cardioid being the most common polar pattern used in both live and studio applications, the T1 prioritizes the features you really need, putting in the palm of your hand the smooth sonic character of classic condenser microphones.

Handmade 1" Titanium Condenser Capsule

Featuring the same handmade dual 1" brass capsule with titanium diaphragm as the T2 - the T1 is a true workhorse that delivers incredible results across a wide range of sources. Titanium is 33% stiffer and over 300% lighter than gold, resulting in a faster transient response, ideal for capturing sources that thrive on attack, such as drums, cymbals, percussion instruments, and upright bass to name just a few applications. The T1 excels particularly in live environments as a factory-matched pair for general overhead or instrument spot mic applications.

Handcrafted with the highest attention to detail, made with a fully waterproof all-metal casing, metal switches, sturdy steel mesh grille, and exceptional quality finish. The T1 is technical, ready to withstand the daily life of touring professionals and years of demanding studio use.
