Rose of Jericho - Selaginella lepidophylla (anastatica hierochuntica)

The Rose of Jericho is a type of desert plant from the spikemoss family (Selaginellaceae). It is known for its ability to survive periods of absolute drought in its natural environment. When facing drought, it curls its stems into a tight ball and only unfolds them when exposed to moisture.

• It can survive for years in a dry state.
• It revives with exposure to a few drops of water.

For better care, the water should be changed daily. It can be kept blooming all year round, but it needs to be able to dry out completely at intervals to prevent rot.
