Feed 2 to 4 times a day the amount that the pet fish will consume within a few minutes.

Always remove any food that is not consumed after the feeding period to avoid overfeeding.

When the water temperature is consistently below 50 F (10 C) or above 86 F (30 C), special care should be taken to avoid overfeeding unless the fish are very active and water quality is good.
