The GF-0735 electric surface pump is designed to pump clean water containing up to 0.1% impurities and particles smaller than 0.2 mm. It operates with water temperatures from 0 °C to 40 °C and a pH range of 4–10. It is used to pump water from wells, lakes and rivers, transfer water through pipes, fill tanks and irrigate.

The pump head connects to an engine via a drive belt, which rotates the internal impeller. It can be used as a replacement part for 2" water pumps or as a standalone unit with an engine and belt. Its output increases with rotational speed. Its power may decrease if the engine intake air temperature exceeds 40 °C or the altitude is above 1,000 m.
