It seems weak when turning, but it does its job. Cold milk foam/frappe in 12-15" without making a mess, and of course you can take it with you on trips. Quite light, but the material of the main body is not of good quality, especially the battery cover. The package includes batteries. I wouldn't say the battery cover closes that easily, and if you use force you may end up holding it in your hand. The batteries are inserted with opposite polarity to each other. This is not mentioned in the manual either. I will definitely try 2-3 more to keep one and give the others as gifts.
As for how sturdy it is, time will tell.

SEVERIN SM 3590 - Received 22/07/2025. The device is excellent, I have been using it for about 12-13 years and it broke due to improper use. The old one also had a metal base. SEVERIN is a German company with quality products. The device has perfect alignment and balancing of the shaft without vibrations. I highly recommend it for your coffee.
