    1200

The repeater can offer up to 1200Mbps in total to the devices connected to it. In practice, the actual speed shared among devices is closer to 200Mbps. A high-resolution 4K movie, for example, requires about 25Mbps. 2. Wi-Fi Features

Frequency
Dual Band (2.4 & 5GHz)

Frequency

The frequencies in which the Wi-Fi Repeater can transmit.

2. Additional frequencies allow for greater speed on more devices.

3. Most transmit on one (2.4GHz) or two (2.4&5GHz) frequencies.

Dual Band (2.4 & 5GHz)
They transmit signals on two frequencies. They offer higher speeds compared to single and can connect more devices. The 2.4Ghz frequency is the most common and usually has a large range, but it is often congested by neighboring Wi-Fi signals, making communication between devices more difficult. The 5Ghz provides faster speeds than the 2.4Ghz, but it is more sensitive to obstacles (e.g. walls) that reduce its range. This difference, as well as its more limited use, helps to reduce interference from other networks.
Maximum WLAN Speed
1200 Mbps

Maximum WLAN Speed

Theoretical maximum speed that the repeater can offer cumulatively to connected devices. The maximum speed it can offer to a single device may be lower.

Wi-Fi Generation

The Wi-Fi generation is a user-friendly separation that indicates the capabilities of Wi-Fi devices (maximum wireless connection speed, number of devices that can connect, frequencies they can transmit on).

Wi‑Fi 4

The older generation of Wi-Fi is significantly slower than Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 6.

It is recommended for use with few devices and for applications that do not require high speeds.

For most users, it would be preferable to choose a Wi-Fi 5 or 6 device according to their needs.

Each subsequent generation is compatible with devices that support some of the previous ones.
IEEE Networking Standards

IEEE Networking Standards

The networking standards describe the frequencies and maximum speeds supported by the device. This information is also reflected in the more user-friendly Wi-Fi generations, such as Wi-Fi 5 (IEEE 802.11ac) or Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11ax).

802.11 b/g/n

The older Wi-Fi standard, known as Wi-Fi 4, is significantly slower than Wi-Fi 5 (IEEE 802.11ac) and Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11ax).

It is recommended for use with few devices and for applications that do not require high speeds. For most users, it would be preferable to choose a Wi-Fi 5 or 6 device depending on their needs.

Each newer generation is compatible with devices that support a previous one.

802.11a

The older Wi-Fi standard is even older than Wi-Fi 4 (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n) which is significantly slower than Wi-Fi 5 (IEEE 802.11ac) and Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11ax).

All subsequent generations are compatible with devices that support a previous one, so it is recommended that the repeater also supports more modern standards.

Features & Functions

Mesh
No

Mesh

What is Mesh WiFi?

Mesh technology eliminates the “dead” spots in the home by creating a single network with the same name (SSID) and password everywhere.

Why is it important?

  • Automatic switching (Seamless Roaming): As you move around the house, your phone automatically connects to the strongest signal without dropping the connection (e.g. during video calls or gaming).

  • Maximum speed: Unlike simple extenders, Mesh maintains consistently high speeds without losses.

***Note: For it to work, your Router must also support the same Mesh technology (e.g. EasyMesh, OneMesh).
WPS Button
No

WPS Button

Allows quick and easy connection of devices to WiFi without entering a password, by pressing a button on the router and the extender.

Installation

Socket
Yes

Socket

It connects directly to the power outlet without cables, offering a compact and easy solution for quickly extending WiFi indoors.
Desktop
No

Desktop

It is placed on a surface (desk, shelf) and usually offers better performance and coverage thanks to larger antennas and more powerful hardware.
Outdoor
No

Outdoor

Designed for outdoor use, with resistance to weather conditions (humidity, dust, temperature), ideal for yards, gardens, or commercial spaces.
