Brita Maxtra Pro Hard replacement filters are designed for water filter jugs and filter hard and very hard water. The four-stage filtration process includes a fine mesh to trap particles, coconut-shell activated carbon to reduce chlorine and its derivatives, and ion-exchange resin to reduce water hardness and metals such as lead and copper.

The filter reduces limescale deposits in kettles and coffee machines, while the additional mesh traps impurities as small as 30 micrometres. The lid and casing contain 50% bioplastic, certified to ISCC PLUS.
