The microscope features three lenses mounted on a rotating base with magnifications of 4x, 10x, and 40x. The eyepiece at the top of the microscope provides additional magnification up to 16 times. There is an adjustable height feature via a screw located on the base.

The light source is provided by a lamp located at the base of the device, which properly illuminates the sample. The included containers allow collecting material for exploration, and the practical case makes storage of all set components easy.

There are two options for using the microscope:

With Smartphone:

• Prepare everything for observation as in the classic option.
• Place the phone holder so that the camera is aligned with the connector.
• Attach the holder to the eyepiece of the microscope.
• Turn on the phone’s camera.
• Use a screw to focus the image if needed.

Classic option:

• After inserting the batteries, turn on the microscope with the ON button.
• Place the slide with the selected sample onto the surface and secure it between the clips.
• The sample should be centered over the light source.
• Adjust the correct optical by rotating the base.
• Then, rotate the screw while looking through the eyepiece to adjust the height of the surface until the image is clear.
