Description

The breakout board offers an excellent current measurement solution with high accuracy and flexibility. It can measure both high-side and low-side DC current, bus voltage, and automatically calculate power. It features impressive accuracy better than 1% and is compatible with I2C for easy use.

It is compatible with microcontrollers such as CircuitPython or Arduino, as well as computers like the Raspberry Pi. It supports 3V or 5V logic and can measure bus voltages up to +36VDC. It cannot be used with alternating voltages.

Many current meters are limited by specific restrictions, however, the INA260 avoids these limitations, as it features a built-in precise shunt resistor and can measure up to +36V and 15A continuously, either on the high or low side.

The voltage across the built-in 2 milliohm (0.002 ohms), 0.1% resistor is measured by the internal 16-bit ADC, providing measurements with 1.5 mA resolution. On the high side, voltage measurement and power calculation are achieved accurately.

The board comes fully assembled with a 5.08mm terminal block and header, requiring a little soldering to connect the header.
