Research indicates its antimicrobial, antioxidant, and anticancer action due to the high content of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. These fatty acids reduce the risk of cancer formation and metastasis. Linseed oil is used soothingly for skin eczema and moisturizes the skin. It increases metabolism, induces thermogenesis, and decreases sugars and triglycerides.
