Overall, the Samsung Q80D is an excellent choice for its price with good contrast, natural image, and satisfactory black levels in movies, and overall reliable construction. And of course, since it is not OLED, you run no risk of burn-in from prolonged use and static images. Additionally, some stores offer extended warranty as extra coverage, as well as additional services such as calibration, wall mounting, etc.

Στο φετινό μοντέλο (q80d) έχει βελτιωθεί το κοντράστ , όμως η γωνία θέασης έχει περιοριστεί .Αυτό έχει γίνει γιατί πλέον υπάρχει VA panel αντί για IPS που είχε το περσινό και προπερσινό μοντέλο .
Ωστόσο ακόμα κι αν βλέπετε απο το πλάι , το αποτέλεσμα στην εικόνα είναι ικανοποιητικό , απλά το μαύρο και τα χρώματα εξασθενούν λίγο , αλλά αυτό είναι αναμενόμενο και δεν είναι κάτι που ενοχλεί ιδιέταιρα .
Επίσης η q80d είναι με τεχνολογία full array με local dimming , που πολοί θεωρούν ανώτερη σε ποιότητα και σε αξιοπιστία τεχνολιγία σε σχέση με τη τεχνολογία που έχουν οικονιμικότερες τηλεοράσεις .
Το μαύρο στην εικόνα είναι αρκετά καλό , σίγουρα δεν είναι τόσο σκοτεινό όπως των oled ή των ακριβότερων τηλεοράσεων Neo qled της samsung -όπως της qn90, qn95 ή της bravia 7 και bravia 9 της sony .
Όμως για τη τιμή που ζητάει η τηλεόραση το μαύρο που δίνει είναι αρκετά ικανοποιητικό , χαωτικά καλύτερο απο των πιο οικονομικών τηλεοράσεων που είναι edge lit, πχ samsung q70d,q60d κ.α.....
Εκτός του οτι με την q80 δεν διατρέχετε κίνδυνο burn in που έχουν οι oled σε πολύωρη καθημερινή χρήση , η διάρκεια ζωής και η αξιοπιστία των full array τηλεοράσεων , όπως της q80d θεωρείται πολύ πιο υψηλή απο των πιο οικονομικών ,που είναι edge lit ...
Κάτι ακόμα , θετικό ,η q80d δεν κάνει black crash , όπως κάνουν οι oled. Δηλαδή , αν και όχι απόλοιτα σκοτεινό το μαύρο , δεν χάνονται λεπτομέρειες στα σκοτεινά πλάνα , όπως κάποιες φορές χάνονται στις oled , που παρουσιάζουν ατέλειες , όπως τη near black level chrominance overshoot κλπ.
Η κινηση στην εικόνα είναι τέλεια γιατί η συχνότητα του backlight είναι πολύ υψηλή και δεν βγαίνει έντονο τρέμουλο , επίσης η τηλεόραση δεν κουράζει. Στο θέμα της κίνησης η τηλεόραση αναγνωρίζει αυτόματα σήματα 24p (δηλαδή ταινίες) και προσαρμόζει αυτόματα τον επεξεργαστή κίνησης ... βέβαια καλύτερη εικόνα θα πάρετε απο τις ενσωματωμένες εφαρμογές (πχ cosmote tv κλπ) παρά απο εξωτερικές συσκευές.
Στο φετινό μοντέλο έχει ανέβει ακόμα η φωτεινότητα και η απόδοση σε ταινίες hdr , αρκετή βελτίωση σε σχέση με τη περσινή κι έχει βελτιωθεί κι ο επεξεργαστής .Πλέον η q80d έχει τον NQ4K 2nd gen , που είναι ο ίδιος επεξεργαστής με αυτόν που έχουν και ακριβότετα μοντέλα .
Το λειτουργικό της samsung tyzen os , είναι πολύ πιο ασφαλές απο
το λειτουργικό άλλων εταιριών , γιατί τρέχει το samsung knox που προσφέρει επιπλέον προστασία όταν το χρησιμοποιείτε . Η τηλεόραση έχει καλή συμβατότητα με πολλές συσκευές και δεν κολλάει . Επίσης με ηχόμπαρες της Samsung συνδέεται ασύρματα μέσω wifi.
Το τηλεκοντρόλ επίσης είναι με bluetooth και λειτουργεί και αυτόματα για ηχόμπαρες κι άλλες συσκευές της samsung.
Στο αμέσως ανώτερο μοντέλο της samsung , την qn85d ανεβαίνει κι άλλο το κοντράστ κι η απόδοση του hdr χάρη στις λίγο περισσότερες ζώνες οπίσθιου φωτισμού , αλλά ανεβαίνει κι άλλο η τιμή .
Βέβαια η qn85d, όπως και η q80d έχουν κι οι δύο (οι φετινές) va panel , και την ίδια τεχνολογία backlight (full array),οπότε η διαφορά στη ποιότητα της εικόνας είναι πάρα πολύ κοντά.
Σημαντική βελτίωση στην εικόνα θα δείτε στα μοντέλα qn90d και qn95d ... που έχουν ακόμα ανώτερες τεχνολογίες (quantum matrix), δίνουν ακόμα καλύτερη απόδοση στο Hdr , ακόμα καλύτερη γωνία θέασης ,πιο φωτεινή εικόνα και πιο βαθύ μαύρο, όμως ανεβαίνει πάααραα πολύ η τιμή .
Συνολικά η samsung q80d είναι μια εξαιρετική επιλογή για τα χρήματα της με καλό κοντράστ, φυσική εικόνα και ικανοποιητικό μαύρο στις ταινίες και συνολικά αξιόπιστη κατασκευή .Και βέβεαια μιας και δεν είναι oled , δεν διατρέχετε κανένα κίνδυνο burn in απο πολύωρη χρήση και απο στατικές εικόνες .Επιπρόσθετα, κάποια καταστήματα παρέχουν επέκταση εγγύησης ως εξτρα κάλυψη , καθώς και εξτρά υπηρεσίες όπως καλιμπραρίσματος , τοποθέτησης στον τοίχο κλπ .
