Geko AWS E6013 electrodes have a rutile-cellulose coating with added cellulose and are designed for repair and renovation work. They are used for welding steel structures subject to static and dynamic loads, such as ship structures, building structures and rolling stock.
They operate on direct current, with either positive or negative polarity at the electrode, or on alternating current. The recommended drying temperature is 100–120 °C for 1 hour.
