The Creative Sound Blaster GC7 external sound card connects via USB and supports 7.1-channel audio. It features four programmable buttons for accessing saved settings, launching applications, or activating streaming settings via macros. The RGB lighting on each button can be customized. GameVoice Mix adjusts the balance between game audio and voice chat.

The AKM4377 digital-to-analog audio converter supports PCM streaming up to 24-bit / 192 kHz. Dual DSP processing includes Super X-Fi Headphone Holography and Sound Blaster technologies, as well as SXFI BATTLE Mode and Scout Mode. It also supports virtual 7.1 surround sound on headphones and speakers, and Dolby Digital decoding.

The sound quality is certainly better than the motherboard's, depending also on which output you use. I have connected an optical fiber to 5.1 Logitech z906 and HyperX headphones.     The worst thing that has happened to me with this company, I believe I have never worked with a more useless card... The mute microphone button broke about 6 months ago and I sent them video evidence, and they wanted me to send them the card without me having another card to use. So the company's policy is that if our product breaks (always within warranty, all this happened within the year)... you send it to us without us sending you a replacement while you are left without sound at work... REALLY!!!!!! Unbelievable after-sales... and if that wasn't enough, the card randomly cuts off the sound without warning and you have to restart the card... unbelievable things in 2025!!! That's why I urge anyone thinking of buying it... not to do it for any reason... of course, I bought another card from a different company! I didn't even think of dealing with the scammers at Creative... They told me, send it to us and in 15 days we'll let you know, I cry...
