The AWTools AW50003 electronic welding helmet features an auto-darkening filter that darkens when the arc starts and returns to a light state after welding. It protects the face and eyes from sparks, spatter, and harmful radiation during welding and grinding. Its large viewing area and low-current mode make it suitable for precision TIG welding.

The helmet has four photosensors, two modes for welding and grinding, and smoothly adjustable sensitivity. The delay when switching from the dark to the light state can be adjusted using three response times.
