I use it for my boat and it seems to be the perfect solution for easily protecting it from the sun. Theoretically, it blocks 90% of sunlight and allows it to breathe and let water through. So I have it touching the boat without worrying if it will get windy, rain, get moldy, etc. It is elastic itself and, combined with elastic ropes, you can fasten it quickly wherever you want and it takes the shape of the object. The only question is how long it will last in the sun.
