It helped us a lot when the baby had colic... he really liked sitting there, sometimes he even slept there... we used it a lot, there wasn't a day he didn't sit there... it's very helpful that it has a timer for how long you want the baby to swing and white noise of course!!! Even now that he is 2.5 years old he still goes and swings, yes it holds him, even though he is 14 kilos!!! I highly recommend it!!!
