In Rafter Five, players try to build the largest possible raft — but they want to be the only ones who can board it.

To start, place the bottom and top parts of the box to create a base, then place the five wooden rafter pieces on the initial card on top of the base.

During your turn, lift a rafter, place a raft card in the play area, replace the rafter, and then place one of your treasure chests somewhere on the raft... ideally in a precarious position, because if someone else knocks over that treasure chest, they have to keep it. If a player collects five treasure chests belonging to other players, they are out of the game! (You can knock over your own treasure chests without penalty, but this makes it easier for others.)
