Wellfed Weight Control Poultry wet food is a poultry pâté in a 400 g can. It contains 68% selected fresh poultry cuts, steam-cooked, and 2% millet. It is intended for adult spayed cats that are overweight and for cats with type II diabetes.
I can say I’m quite satisfied. My pets have slimmed down quite a bit, and they like the taste too. There are instructions on the back for the amount in grams according to the animal’s weight and how much weight it needs to lose. Just because it’s weight control doesn’t mean we can feed them recklessly.
We started off well, both economical and suitable for my two cats to lose weight. Unfortunately, after two months, as soon as they ate it, they went straight to the litter box. At first I thought it was a coincidence or that they just associated it that way, since it's my first time having cats, but they kept doing it deliberately every time for two weeks.
As soon as I changed the food, they immediately stopped this habit. And they never did it again.
I'm just mentioning this, and it might make sense that these kinds of foods should only be given for a specific period.
Otherwise, if you don't experience something similar to me, then this food is the only way to go for its price.
