      Purchased 2 months ago. 12000 btu. So far, used in a bedroom - so we also wanted quiet - it is perfectly fine even on auto - if you have set it earlier. We’ll see if it will stand the test of time. If we open the room door, it cools the space outside the bedroom too. The outdoor unit is not audible. We also used anti-vibration mounts - on the outdoor unit - to make sure it does not resonate with the wall at all.

      Maintenance consumption (SE mode): Only 180W – 220W (average ~190W).

      Operating cost: For 20 hours of daily use, it consumes about 3.8 kWh/day, meaning only ~€0.57/day (~€17–€19 per month at a price of €0.15/kWh).

      Very fast cooling at startup, quiet, and extremely efficient. For the money, it is a value-for-money choice.

      The 24,000 BTU one contains Gree’s Landa dual-compressor model, a beast that the outdoor unit can barely be lifted by three people. What can I say? It cools the house in seconds, in a 40 sq.m. living room-kitchen with an uninsulated roof slab above it, even in a heatwave. It’s economical in consumption, without extra gimmicks or AI boards that burn out, has a ten-year warranty, and is a real tractor that doesn’t get fazed by harsh conditions and has a real cooling output of 28,000 BTU. In terms of noise, it’s average, but in silent mode it’s okay. What you get for this money is extreme if you look into the engineering of what it has; there is no comparison at this price point. Everything else is inferior in quality, with very few exceptions, e.g. Gree’s Fairy and some others, but those also have lower actual power

      Very good performance! I put a 12k Umi in the room last year, and I also have the previous model, the 12k Umi Eco, in the living room for 4 years now in a 65 sq.m. apartment exposed on 3 sides all around and with a rooftop above. They work in both winter and summer, they don’t make much noise, and they are very economical in energy consumption

      I replaced an old Fujitsu which are now unaffordable. I was afraid to buy a very cheap air conditioner because I read about burnt circuit boards etc., and you can't really experiment, especially since installation and uninstallation now cost as much as a cheap air conditioner... This particular model is OK in terms of cooling, it's decent. But in terms of noise, I can't say the same. Even in Quiet mode, you can't really call it quiet, since the indoor unit makes a terrible humming noise that causes a headache; when the outdoor fan stops spinning, the humming stops too. If it were in the living room, I wouldn't have a problem, but it's in the bedroom and actually above the bed, so even the slightest sound is noticeable. I hope I get used to it...

      I have had it for three years in a bedroom. It is silent, works perfectly, heats and cools the room very quickly. No malfunctions, no yellowing of the plastics. The house is old and on a corner, exposed to winds, heat, etc., without insulation. I have no complaints, in fact when the bedroom door is open it covers a large part of the apartment (the apartment is 60 sq.m. in total). I have another old 12,000 BTU air conditioner that I am thinking of replacing soon and I think I will choose the Toyotomi Umi again. Also, very economical in consumption

      We got it to heat (as a supplement to the existing heating system with classic radiators) and to cool a small room (about 10 sq.m.) in the village! So far, after just one week of use, the machine seems to work very well for heating! It takes about 5 minutes to start blowing warm air and it is quite quiet both in the indoor and outdoor unit! The technician who installed it showed me that its "internals" are made in China, regardless of the box saying "made in Japan" on the outside... In any case, for now we are satisfied... if anything changes in the summer, I will update..

      Even though the conditions in the space are far from ideal now in the winter, it does an excellent job!
      I won't tell you that the space feels like an oven, but you can now sit inside without freezing comfortably, even with so many negatives present in the space.
      It hasn't been tested in the heat yet, but if with such cold, in such a poorly insulated space, it performs like this in heating... I believe in the cold it will work wonders!!!
      And I haven't even mentioned the 4 filters that do an incredible job with people smoking like chimneys inside the space.
      If they don't raise the prices again, it's worth it... at 650-700 euros I think it's worth its money and more.

      The 24,000 BTU one contains Gree’s Landa dual-compressor model, a beast that the outdoor unit can barely be lifted by three people. What can I say? It cools the house in seconds, in a 40 sq.m. living room-kitchen with an uninsulated roof slab above it, even in a heatwave. It’s economical in consumption, without extra gimmicks or AI boards that burn out, has a ten-year warranty, and is a real tractor that doesn’t get fazed by harsh conditions and has a real cooling output of 28,000 BTU. In terms of noise, it’s average, but in silent mode it’s okay. What you get for this money is extreme if you look into the engineering of what it has; there is no comparison at this price point. Everything else is inferior in quality, with very few exceptions, e.g. Gree’s Fairy and some others, but those also have lower actual power

      The 24,000 BTU one contains Gree’s Landa dual-compressor model, a beast that the outdoor unit can barely be lifted by three people. What can I say? It cools the house in seconds, in a 40 sq.m. living room-kitchen with an uninsulated roof slab above it, even in a heatwave. It’s economical in consumption, without extra gimmicks or AI boards that burn out, has a ten-year warranty, and is a real tractor that doesn’t get fazed by harsh conditions and has a real cooling output of 28,000 BTU. In terms of noise, it’s average, but in silent mode it’s okay. What you get for this money is extreme if you look into the engineering of what it has; there is no comparison at this price point. Everything else is inferior in quality, with very few exceptions, e.g. Gree’s Fairy and some others, but those also have lower actual power

      I replaced an old Fujitsu which are now unaffordable. I was afraid to buy a very cheap air conditioner because I read about burnt circuit boards etc., and you can't really experiment, especially since installation and uninstallation now cost as much as a cheap air conditioner... This particular model is OK in terms of cooling, it's decent. But in terms of noise, I can't say the same. Even in Quiet mode, you can't really call it quiet, since the indoor unit makes a terrible humming noise that causes a headache; when the outdoor fan stops spinning, the humming stops too. If it were in the living room, I wouldn't have a problem, but it's in the bedroom and actually above the bed, so even the slightest sound is noticeable. I hope I get used to it...

      The machine has been installed for a month now in a 50sqm space with crazy losses from existing air ducts and a door that opens constantly...
      Even though the conditions in the space are far from ideal now in the winter, it does an excellent job!
      I won't tell you that the space feels like an oven, but you can now sit inside without freezing comfortably, even with so many negatives present in the space.
