Description

Aperol is a true masterpiece of alchemy, with a unique and balanced taste resulting from the infusion of high-quality fruits, herbs, and roots. It remains faithful to its original, secret recipe from 1919 to this day.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Slightly alcoholic, with notes of fresh orange, complex herbs, and a subtle vanilla

Body: Intense orange color, with characteristic herbal notes and a pleasantly bittersweet taste

Texture: Velvety and rounded

Aftertaste: Long-lasting, with bittersweet and herbal elements

Why is it orange?

The Barbieri brothers, creators of Aperol, did not leave an official explanation for its distinctive color. However, orange has been inextricably linked to its refreshing, bittersweet taste and the warm, friendly atmosphere of aperitivo moments.

  • I ordered three bottles, the minus one star is because when they arrived, one of the three bottles had a crack at the bottom resulting in it leaking. I noticed it immediately fortunately and replaced the bottle with another one I had. I was careful of course to make sure there was no glass inside.

  • For those who haven't tried it, know that it is bitter.
It reminds me of the Campari that his father used to drink

  • I don't work in a bar, but the 1 liter definitely offers better value than the 700ml in terms of price

  • Larger and vfm bottle since it "pulls" easily especially in the summer for aperol spritz cocktails. On the back side of the bottle, it has the ratio for spritz. Don't forget the slice of orange that adds extra aroma
