Chartron et Trebuchet was founded in 1984 in Puligny-Montrachet and is historically located in the golden triangle of the Cote de Beaune, as it spans the villages of Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, and Chassagne-Montrachet. It is a House that quickly gained a global reputation from the day it was founded.
The story of friendship developed between Jean-Rene Chartron, an estate owner, and Louis Trebuchet, a wine merchant, who put all their strength and energy into promoting the great terroirs of Burgundy. The goal and vision of both are the winemaking of great wines and premium labels, something that is fully achieved as the label with the distinctive logo of Chartron et Trebuchet is recognized worldwide.
Corton Grand Cru is renowned for its premium red Pinot Noir from this unique terroir that gives us elegant and refined wines, characterized by incredible complexity and great aging potential.
