Very good quality materials, poor (in my opinion) construction.
What I mean: The lid consists of 2 pieces, the actual screw-on lid, and a plastic ring that screws onto the metal part of the thermos, as an intermediate piece.
Practically, you have to screw 2 things to close the thermos, instead of 1, which is typically just the lid. Personally, this seems completely unnecessary to me.
And many times, if you don't screw it as tightly as you should (it doesn't need as much force as possible, it will leak), you will have leaks.
Which means that every time I assemble it, I have to turn it upside down, shake it to see if it leaks (which in 80% of cases it does), and then tighten-loosen to find the sweet spot.
It's worth having it for cold water at the office, or generally if you know that if you take it with you it won't leak.
As a thermos, it's ok, and it keeps the temperature of cold and hot quite well.
But personally, I don't trust it to throw it in my backpack, because I'm afraid it will ruin my laptop.
Even the Stanley thermos (Stanley Classic Trigger Action Travel Mug) that has a trigger to open the lid to drink, I trust more, even though the trigger can easily be pressed inside the backpack, because at least in this one, I know that if I screw the lid and don't press the trigger (which requires force), it won't leak.
Πολύ καλή ποιότητα υλικών, κακή (κατά την άποψή μου) κατασκευή.
Τι εννοώ: Το καπάκι αποτελείται από 2 κομμάτια, το actual βιδωτό καπάκι, και ένα πλαστικό δαχτυλίδι που βιδώνει στο μεταλλικό κομμάτι του θερμός, σαν ενδιάμεσο.
Πρακτικά πρέπει να βιδώσεις 2 πράγματα για να κλείσεις το θερμός, αντί για 1, που τυπικά είναι μόνο το καπάκι. Προσωπικά αυτό μου φαίνεται εντελώς αχρείαστο.
Και αρκετές φορές, αν δεν το βιδώσεις όσο σφιχτά πρέπει (δε θέλει μέχρι όσο πάει η δύναμή σου, θα κάνει διαρροές), θα έχεις διαρροές.
Που σημαίνει ότι κάθε φορά που το συναρμολογώ πρέπει να το αναποδογυρίζω, να το κουνάω για να δω αν τρέχει (που στις 80% των περιπτώσεων τρέχει), και μετά σφίξε-ξεσφίξε για να βρεις το sweet spot.
Αξίζει να το έχεις για κρύο νερό πάνω στο γραφείο, ή γενικά αν ξέρεις ότι αν το πάρεις μαζί σου δε θα αναποδογυρίσει.
Σα θερμός δηλαδή είναι οκ, και κρατάει αρκετά καλά τη θερμοκρασία κρύου και ζεστού.
Αλλά προσωπικά δεν το εμπιστεύομαι για να το πετάξω στο backpack, γιατί φοβάμαι ότι θα κλαίω το laptop.
Ακόμα και το Stanley θερμός (Stanley Classic Trigger Action Travel Mug) που έχει σκανδάλη για να ανοίξει το πώμα ώστε να πιεις το εμπιστεύομαι περισσότερο, παρότι μπορεί εύκολα να πιεστεί η σκανδάλη του μέσα στο backpack, γιατί τουλάχιστον σε αυτό, ξέρω ότι αν βιδώσω το καπάκι και δεν πατήσω τη σκανδάλη (που θέλει δύναμη), δε θα τρέξει σταγόνα.
