Complementing their practical, educational, and entertainment dimensions, AUDIO BOOKS target many different social groups for whom reading a book can be difficult or impossible, such as: - Greek expatriates with limited Greek reading ability - Elderly people - People with Special Needs (SEN), e.g., visual impairments - People with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), e.g., dyslexia. "The Diary of a Sensitive Killer," Luis Sepulveda
"The Diary of a Sensitive Killer" is a work by the Chilean activist and widely translated author Luis Sepulveda. It is a polyphonically recorded production in Greek, with meticulous sound design and music in a Noir Jazz style reminiscent of the 1950s and 60s, composed by Tasos Makrigiannis. Notably, it features the song "Ella" (meaning "Her") by the popular Mexican singer and actor Pedro Infante, along with an interesting cover of the same song performed by Nikos Polymeros.
Summary: In "The Diary of a Sensitive Killer," Luis Sepulveda sheds light on the background of the life of a professional assassin. There are two strict rules that govern him: "live alone" and "you only need to know what's necessary about the victim." Throughout his brilliant career, the sensitive killer has never questioned these rules, cynically summarizing the reasons for each execution with a command "with a number and six zeros." However, now, on his last mission, a girl full of life and a goal unlike any other will throw him off balance, the strict rules will be broken—and the story will unfold in an unexpected way with a surprising ending.
