Special tape for electric fencing against snails.

The tape should be used in combination with the electric shepherd device against snails. The tape contains two metal strips, each 5 mm wide, on one side, while the other side is coated with an adhesive layer covered by a protective tape. The protective tape must be removed before sticking. The adhesive layer adheres sufficiently only to clean, glossy surfaces.

• It is recommended to pre-treat wooden surfaces with a lacquer coating, which also protects the wood.
• Treatment of wooden surfaces with an oil-based product is not suitable, as the adhesive does not stick to the surface at all.

Before installation, make sure to plan the position of the tape, perhaps marking the points where the tape will pass. Also, before application, dust the surface and then degrease with technical or isopropyl alcohol.

Warning: if the adhesive surface comes into contact with a dusty, muddy, or greasy surface, it will lose its adhesiveness and the damaged part will become unusable. Mechanical fastening of the tape (sewing, screwing) is not an option at all.

The tape can be extended using a special connector (you will find 2 sets of connectors in the package).
