Description

The Anga CT-08 tester is ideal for RJ45 and RJ11 network cables. It offers the ability to test cables with twisted pairs, activating the power. (S is slow automatic test, Mis is manual). Connect the cables to the main tester and the remote tester. The lights on the main tester will light up successively from 1 to G.

Main tester: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-G

Remote tester: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-G RJ45, 1-2-3-4-5-6 RJ11

Here are the abnormal connections:

  • If a cable, e.g. cable NO.3 is open, the two lights NO.3 of the main and remote tester will not light up.
  • If several cables are not connected, many lights will not light up accordingly. If fewer than two cables are connected, no light will turn on.
  • If the two ends of a cable are in the wrong order, e.g. NO. 2 and NO. 4, it will show:
    • Main tester: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-G
    • Remote tester: 1-4-3-2-5-6-7-8-G
  • If two wires are shorted, none of the corresponding lights of the remote tester will light up, while the main tester remains unchanged.
  • If you are testing panels or wall cables, two cables that can connect (RJ45) will connect to the tester.
  • If you are testing cables of the same type, the BNC will illuminate when the cable is functioning.

The tester uses a rechargeable 9V battery. It is recommended to change the battery if a weak light appears. (The battery is not included.)
