The Fujifilm GFX100 II is a mirrorless camera featuring a large-format 102 MP GFX 102MP CMOS II HS sensor and an X-Processor 5. The sensor has approximately twice the readout speed of the GFX100S, while the camera supports continuous shooting at up to 8 frames per second with the mechanical shutter. In-body image stabilization is also used in Pixel Shift mode, which combines 20 frames to create a 400 MP image.

Subject-detection autofocus recognizes people, animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, and trains, while the updated AF prediction algorithm supports tracking moving subjects. For video, the camera records in 8K/30p and 4K/60p with internal 4:2:2 10-bit recording, and supports F-Log2 and RAW output via HDMI to compatible external devices.
