This educational textbook is an attempt to approach the nationwide exam subject of Modern Greek for the 3rd Grade of Vocational High Schools and adequately meets the needs of students and educators that arose after the establishment of the joint examination of Modern Greek Language and Literature.

It contains all the necessary theories (non-literary and literary texts) that the student needs to know, structured in tables, and 37 Thematic Units of contemporary concern, each accompanied by an Evaluation Criterion, which corresponds both to the difficulty level of the Vocational High Schools' topics and to the students' ability to derive reflection from it, which is a main goal of the course.

At the end of the book, all the answers to the Evaluation Criteria are presented in detail, written in a simple form, which can serve as an aid in the comprehensive preparation of students for the nationwide exams.
