The TAISHAN-D03K from FiiO is a simple device that converts coaxial or optical digital S/PDIF audio to stereo analog output, ideal for multimedia such as TVs or CD/DVD/Blu-ray players that lack an analog output. The dual RCA signal outputs can be connected to an amplifier, while a 3.5mm mini stereo output can be used to provide a signal to a WLAN wireless headphone system. (The mini stereo output is not recommended for direct connection to conventional wired headphones.) The unit features a digital input format switch and an LED indicator for confirming digital signal lock. Power is supplied by an external power supply. The input will accept PCM digital audio up to 24 bit / 192 kHz, but Dolby Digital and DTS are not supported.

    A simple DAC that gets the job done. Don't expect any amazing sound with super resolution. It simply provides a convenient solution for getting analog sound from your TV if it doesn't have RCA analog output or headphone output. However, be aware that this specific one does not support DD/DTS. So, in the case that your TV outputs Dolby through optical, adjust its settings to output PCM, otherwise you won't have sound.
