I have come into contact with Italians several times... always cheerful, with their native language always sounding like a concert within the musicality... And always with high aesthetics... It's impossible not to credit them for that. Always delicate and well-groomed without using heavy brands... they simply know what goes with what so that the result is always aesthetically pleasing... It seems that high aesthetics are an integral part of their culture...

And how could Trussardi be any different...

Opening with a strong lemon note... This lasts for a few minutes... And almost from the opening, the plum makes its presence felt. A sweet fruit that you don't encounter very often... Although the plum as a note can be heavy, here the lemon lifts it from the top and makes it quite airy... At the two-hour mark, the iris also blends in and begins to give a floral tone with a very subtle and quite hidden powder in the background... At the three-hour mark, it becomes quite floral while at the four-hour mark, some light woods emerge... To be honest, my nose didn't catch the leather. The fragrance is not "dark" and is never clearly "bright"... It maintains a middle ground, which makes it very versatile. The iris here is not warm, sensual like Dior Homme or Givenchy Gentlemen. It is light and "transparent."

So we have bright citrus, a bit of fruit (plum), and quite a floral aspect (for the most part of the dry down).

Duration: 4-5 hours on the skin
Projection: around an hour then it comes very close to the skin
Gender: Male
Seasons: Spring and summer evenings ideally. For morning and midday in the Greek summer where you can fry an egg on the asphalt for fun, it wouldn't be among my choices.
Conditions: It is quite refined... Ideal for the office but also for a short formal occasion.
Ages: 35+ it has a DNA that responds to men's fragrances from the previous decade... After all, it was first released in 2014. I don't mean that it is outdated... Just that modern men's fragrances have a distance from this profile. I don't think it will be appreciated by younger ages.

Quite good. Nice work. All quality from the bottle, the atomizer to the blend. For its price, an excellent case. Minus one star because I would have liked the plum to be more persistent (personal preference... I happen to really like the note of plum)... Unfortunately, it appears as a poor secondary character of a one-liner. However, on clothes, in contrast to the skin, what remains when you smell it the next day is a mix of plum and violet. Minus another star because the performance is not that great...
The title is unfortunate. It is neither dark nor extreme.

Average duration, average projection, nice aromatic profile... Positive correlation between price (€30-€40) and quality. Good... Blind buy only if you like men's floral fragrances (for the most part of its development it is floral and not fruity at least on my skin)... If not, try it first...
