The Axagon ADR-215B cable connects a computer with a USB-A port to a printer, scanner, plotter or other USB-B device. Its active USB 2.0 repeater boosts the signal, allowing devices to be connected over a greater distance than with a passive cable. It is compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 and supports Plug and Play and Hot Plug.
It is powered via the USB bus and features a socket for an optional 5 V, 1–2 A external power supply when USB power is insufficient. The shielded cable has two LED indicators for power and device connection. The package includes a 1.2 m USB-A-to-3.5 mm plug power cable.
