It cuts polystyrene of various hardness levels (graphite, Dalmatia, Styrodur, flooring, polystyrene with hardness EPS 200 used under garages). Hot cutting of polystyrene prevents the scattering of granules in the workspace and their disintegration by the wind, as happens with saw cutting. The knife cuts polypropylene ropes and woven strips made of synthetic fibers without fraying.
