For safe discharge and to extend battery life, the final discharge voltage should not fall below the following values:

• at a discharge current up to 0.1 * battery capacity (A): minimum 1.75 V
• at a discharge current between (0.11 ... 0.2) * battery capacity (A): minimum 1.70 V
• at a discharge current between (0.21 ... 0.3) * battery capacity (A): minimum 1.67 V
• at a discharge current between (0.31 ... 1) * battery capacity (A): minimum 1.60 V
• at a discharge current above 1.1 * battery capacity (A): minimum 1.3 V

Additionally, proper charging will extend battery life. Accurate monitoring of the charging voltage is necessary, as follows:

• in standby and float charging: 2.25 and 2.3 V/cell, at a temperature of 25 °C
• in cyclic operation: 2.35 and 2.45 V/cell, at a temperature of 25 °C

The recommended initial voltage is a maximum of 0.3 * battery capacity (A). The charging voltage should be adjusted according to the temperature: it should be slightly increased at low temperatures (winter) and decreased at high temperatures (summer) (+/- 3 mV/degree Celsius/cell in standby or +/- 4 mV/degree Celsius/cell in cyclic operation).

Internal resistance (fully charged battery, at a temperature of 25 °C): 14 mOhm.
