An incredible smoky whiskey!
Aroma
I opened the bottle, poured a little into a glass, and let it breathe for a while.
As soon as you open the bottle, the aroma of new leather dominates!
Like a new, good leather jacket.
This aroma fills the room and you feel warmth and relaxation even before the first drops come out of the bottle.
Until your nose gets used to it, you don't notice any other scent.
After a while, the aroma of smoke comes and when you approach the glass, it's like lighting a fireplace and savoring it.
Taste
At first, it's somewhat sweet, with flavors of fruits, spices, and a hint of honey.
Then you realize that you're tasting a very strong whiskey (54.2%) with a dominant smoky flavor, burnt driftwood that the sea washed ashore, and gradually notes of sea salt and seaweed come. With a little black, bitter chocolate after the sip, the flavors related to the sea are even more pronounced.
Finish
Initially, the salted caramel prevails and lasts for quite a while as the main flavor, which is followed by the aroma of freshly ground espresso coffee. Then the taste of smoke returns to the mouth and the aroma of well-oiled leather returns to the nose, lasting for quite a while. I could still perceive the aroma even an hour later.

Άρωμα
Άνοιξα το μπουκάλι, έβαλα λίγο σε ένα ποτήρι και το άφησα να αναπνεύσει λίγη ώρα.
Με το που ανοίγεις το μπουκάλι κυριαρχεί το άρωμα καινούργιου δερμάτινου!
Σαν καινούργιο, καλό δερμάτινο μπουφάν.
Το άρωμα αυτό πλημμυρίζει τον χώρο και νιώθεις ζεστασιά και χαλάρωση πριν ακόμα βγουν οι πρώτες σταγόνες απο το μπουκάλι.
Μέχρι να το συνηθίσει η μύτη, δεν καταλαβαίνεις άλλο άρωμα.
Μετά απο λίγο έρχεται το άρωμα του καπνού και όταν πλησιάζεις το ποτήρι είναι σαν να χεις ανάψει τζάκι και να το σκαλίζεις.
Γεύση
Στην αρχή είναι κάπως γλυκό, με γεύση φρούτων, μπαχαρικών και λίγο μέλι.
Μετά καταλαβαίνεις οτι γεύεσαι ένα πολύ δυνατό ουίσκι (54,2%) με κυρίαρχη γεύση το καπνιστό, καμένο ξύλο που ξέβρασε η θάλασσα (driftwood) και σιγά-σιγά έρχονται νότες θαλασσινό αλάτι και θαλασσινό ιώδιο. Με λίγη μαύρη, πικρή σοκολάτα μετά τη γουλιά, αναδεικνύεται ακόμα πιο πολύ οι γεύσεις που σχετίζονται με τη θάλασσα.
Τελείωμα
Αρχικά επικρατεί και διαρκεί για αρκετή ώρα η αλατισμένη καραμέλα, σαν κύρια γεύση, την οποία διαδέχεται το άρωμα φρεσκοκομμένου καφέ εσπρέσο. Μετά επανέρχεται η γεύση καπνού στο στόμα και στη μύτη επιστρέφει το άρωμα του well-oiled δερμάτινου που διαρκεί για αρκετή ώρα. Εγώ καταλάβαινα το άρωμα ακόμα και μια ώρα μετά.
